Smart folders time conditions suddenly broken and swapping between them (the smart folders) locks up mailmate

This has only just begun to happen and I don't think I have changed anything to trigger it. (Famous last word.)
I've tried upgrading to r5582 and still have the same issue.
I have some smart folders which have the Date / is not within last / X months condition which worked fine for year(s) but are now displaying emails from the last few days. If I then swap between different smart folders Mailmate becomes unresponsive until I force kill it.

There was a serious bug in the “months” variant of date comparisons. Sorry about the inconvenience of this bug.
