Failure to match names

Some time ago I reported having trouble writing rules that matched based on names, but I worked around, and couldn't replicate the problem. I now have a good example, trying to write a rule that will get rid of some git commit messages I get. I am trying to match on the from name, which is "BUB gitolite".
I'm attaching a redacted message that I believe should match and a screen grab from the rules editor.

- State changed from “new” to “cantreproduce”
I cannot reproduce this with your example email.
Does the issue persist if you use “Message ▸ Reset...” to re-introduce the email in MailMate?
