Flagging / unflagging messages

Before this latest release, I'd have a message selected and would flag/unflag it and see an immediate feedback — the status was represented by an icon. Now, that behaviour is different — I have to select another message in order to see the icon change associated with that action, which is weird.

Yes, that is weird. Does this issue still persist? (I don't have similar reports.)
