Close window after move to mailbox does not work

When opening a message in a separate window and deleting it, it shows the next message instead of closing the message window and going back to main window. This used to be the behaviour some time ago (not sure when it changed).
Is that the scenario that the "Close window after move to mailbox" preference is for? If so, it doesn't seem to make any difference whether the box is ticket or not.
(I'll also take the opportunity to thank you for the amazing work you're doing with creating an email client that is a real joy to use!)

No, that setting is for the “Move to Mailbox” window.
There's currently only a hidden preference for the other behavior:
defaults write com.freron.MailMate MmSingleMessageWindowClosesAfterMove -bool YESThis is a GUI setting in a future release of MailMate (next to the other setting).
