New (?) menu bar in Composer window causes items to overlap

My typical window width is about 80 columns, give or take. Maybe 100 if I'm feeling expansive.
In r5566, the new menu bar at the top of the Composer window winds up with overlapping menu items if my window is its typical width. A screenshot is attached.
The From menu needs to automatically add an ellipsis in the middle of the text, or other items need to get dropped, or a little 'continue' arrow needs to be added at the right edge of the bar.

- State changed from “new” to “reproduced”
The plan is to move the “From” part into the list of headers. That should solve it (at least until I add something else to the bar which doesn't).
