Exchange contacts not auto-completing
Reported by Will | October 22nd, 2018 @ 06:15 PM
Email addresses from my Exchange "Directory Services" contacts do not auto-complete in the "To:" field. The "Contacts" checkbox for Auto-Completion Sources is checked.
I can see the contacts when opening MailMate's Address Panel and then searching (however, if I do not search, no contacts appear -- this is the same behavior in Apple's Contacts app).

It has been a while since I looked into this, but if I remember correctly then I could only make it work by using a so-called private API. With a later macOS update I removed the code because I wasn't sure that it wasn't causing other problems.
Eventually I'll switch to a different API provided by Apple for accessing Contacts and that might make this work. I'll make sure to at least update this ticket when this happens.

May I ask what I am doing wrong? I am using office 365 but my exchange address list isn't working. I can use the native Mac OS Contacts and it works, but not via the MailMate address book. All my other other address books are fine, just exchange. Any ideas? Apologies if I've incorrectly posed the question when I should have raised this as a separate ticket.

The code used in MailMate to access Contacts has changed (MailMate r5907+) and I assume this has implicitly fixed the above. Let me know if that is not the case.
