cmd-clicking links not working the same
Reported by Matt Wean | September 27th, 2018 @ 06:29 AM
Hi,
I always go through things like newsletters and cmd-click links to open them in the background, but it seems like this has stopped working recently. I'm not sure exactly when, but I think maybe the last week or so. Did something change? Thanks!

Sorry about the late reply on this one. Do you still have this issue (I couldn't reproduce it)?

Yeah, it's still happening for me. So if you cmd-click a link, it opens in the background? I can't think of any other changes I've made recently that could interfere with it.

Yes, it opens in the background for me (and I don't have other reports about this issue). What is your macOS version?
You can try older versions of MailMate if you like (to confirm that the MailMate version is part of this issue): https://updates.mailmate-app.com/archives/
See the release notes to make sense of the revision numbers.

I'm still on High Sierra. I tried a few versions back to r5462 and deleted the preferences and app support folder, but it's still happening. It must be some local issue. Thanks for checking.

It's an unsatisfying suggestion, but have you tried rebooting the machine?

Yeah, it's been happening for a while, so I've restarted many times.
