During compose have some kind of indicator on the current cursors column
Reported by Eelco Chaudron | June 8th, 2018 @ 02:06 PM
When writing text emails I like to keep track of how long my lines are. It would be nice to see the current column somewhere. Or even better set a virtual column marker.
For example like emacs, https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/FillColumnIndicator or Vim's colorcolumn=.

No promises, but I'll make a note to look into this when I replace the composer status bar.
Just for the record, such a feature should not be used to hard-wrap lines (in general) since MailMate automatically wraps lines using
format=flowed
(and some timesquoted-printable
).
