Tag autocomplete is now case-sensitive (and thus less useful)
Reported by Sean | March 23rd, 2018 @ 04:13 PM
I apologise if I'm wrong about this, but I believe this is a change of behaviour since the latest update: Mailmate used to ignore the case of typed input when matching tags for autocomplete, but now seems to be case-sensitive.
Example case: I used to be able to hit my keyboard shortcut for tagging mail and type 'fy' to bring up an autocomplete list for tags including 'FY1819'; but doing the same now, the tag won't appear.

That's not how it is intended to work. What is your macOS version and could you send me the following file (via Help ▸ Send Feedback):
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Tags.plist
Then I'll see if I can reproduce it.

I'm also experiencing this issue (have sent my tags.plist file also).
Even if I type the tag in uppercase, once it's set the tag shows as Capitalized. e.g. I set the tag to "GDPR" but it becomes "Gdpr".

Shay, it turns out this is fixed in the latest test release. Benny suggested: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.
