Crash on Quit

MacBook Pro Retina 13-inch, Mid 2014, macOS 10.13
Mailmate Version 1.9.7 (5425)
Mailmate crashes on quit. Running Mailmate from the terminal and then quitting gives this:
CoreData: error: API Misuse: Attempt to serialize store access on non-owning coordinator (PSC = 0x7fc4f8d54a50, store PSC = 0x0)

Is there any update on this?
I've tried reinstalling and reauthorising the application but the problem persists.

Sorry about the late update. I've now tried to fix it, but I don't yet have a test release for you.
In the mean time, the fact that it happens so often for you tells me that one or more of your accounts might be “busy-looping”, that is, they are always active. If this is not the case then I would not expect this kind of crash.
Do you have any persistent spinners next to any of your accounts/mailboxes?

Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.

Hello,
Thank you for your replies. To answer your question, no, I didn't notice any persistent spinners next to any of my accounts or mailboxes.
I have followed your instructions and downloaded Version 1.9.7 (5428). I have opened and closed the app several times and so far I have not encountered any crashes.
