Error when attempting to edit subscriptions
Reported by Steve Hildrey | August 9th, 2017 @ 05:51 PM
Attempting to "Edit Subscriptions..." using an IMAP account
Expected: the ability to edit subscriptions
Actual: Mailbox Retrieval Failed / Error: "" / [OK]
Mailmate 5347
Mac OS 10.12.5
Have tried rebooting, deleting/recreating account,
reinstalling.
Otherwise, functionality seems OK. But this error persists, and
prevents me using Mailmate properly.

You can try the latest test release: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.
Is this a server for which I can create a test account?

Tried with r5407, still fails with the same error.
Unfortunately this is a work server that I do not control. However, a colleague also using MailMate on the same system has the same problem.

Thanks for trying.
It's a bit tricky to debug subscriptions, but try enabling this debug variable (in a Terminal window):
defaults write com.freron.MailMate LoggingEnabled -bool YES
Then relaunch and trigger the issue. Finally, see if MailMate created a file in this location:
/tmp/mailmate_imap_subscriptions.log
If you found it then send it to me using “Help ▸ Send Feedback”.
Thanks in advance!!
