Feature Request: Allow keybindings to scroll the message pane and the list of messages

in my hope to go keyboard only for as much as I can, I have page down and page up scroll the message preview down like below but it's a hack. Ideally I'd like to have it scroll by half a page or so instead of a full pagedown.

The following doesn't work at all as the home-end behavior is
the normal go to the top of the list and go to the bottom of the
list respectively. I'd love for this to scroll the messages list
panel by half a visible page as well.

Sorry, I don't have any ideas. I tried googling it since it seems that a global “hack” would be best, but it doesn't seem like there is anything that works well. Theoretically, I could override the behavior of paging down just in MailMate, but it's not a high priority.
