Feature Request: Smart Mailbox Condition `read` / `unread`

You mean simpler menu items like:
Message is Read Message is UnreadI checked the naming in Apple Mail, but it appears these conditions are not available at all...
Still, I agree that it would be nice with these menu items given that the alternative is the “Seen” keyword which is kind of different than the rest of the GUI (seen vs read).

MailMate now has two convenience menus named “Message is” and “Message is not”. These should make it easier to match on seen-state, flagged stated, colored flagged state, and a few other states (replied/forwarded/redirected). These “shortcuts” also have the potential to be configurable in the future.
When adding this I also made a major rewrite of the conditions editor which should mean that I can more easily make improvements in the future.
To test it: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.
