GPG Error - First try to encrypt emails

Hi guys,

I just tried to send my first encrypted email.

Setup:
- Installed GPGSuite and created a key (including uploading it to the public server) - Restarted MailMate, activated OpenGPG encryption (S/MIME stays active as well) and restarted MailMate again (Version 1.9.6 (5347)). - OSX 10.10.5 (14F2315)

When sending the email I get the following error message:

INV_RECP 1 <**recipient email**>
FAILURE encrypt 9

I googled a lot but could not find a solution yet (there is one post in this forum about some group email but I did not quite understand it :-) ).
Can anyone help me with that?
