End of URI detection

On URLs like this one that Google Maps hands out:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/47°43'31.5%22N+122°20'20....
URL detection/autolink stops at the degree sign, and if you remove that on the single quote, rather than the end of the URI.
I know ° isn't 7-bit ASCII and ' is in the sub-delims reserved set and hence they should probably be encoded on the generation end of things. But given that popular usage allows these characters I'd like MailMate to do so as well.
