Accounts Offline

Reported by Dominic Phillips | March 22nd, 2017 @ 01:19 AM

Hi,

I'm a keen mailmate user, generally very happy with the product. I just tried to add a new IMAP account for my business.

It's a small business, I have about 10 different email accounts set up for different reasons. All connect happily to my Mailmate, I also have a few GMAIL accounts on there.

All the IMAP accounts are set up with the same details:-

IMAP Server - 7rgk-r5fy.accessdomain.com
Port - 993

SMTP Server - 7rgk-r5fy.accessdomain.com
Port - 465

On setting up the new account, Mailmate refused to accept the password, even though it is definitely correct. The account set up but never synced as password not correct. Now all IMAP accounts are offline.

The gmail accounts are working fine, but I can't get my IMAP work accounts back online. I've deleted the new account, restarted the program and restarted the computer (Macbook Pro). None of these work.

Please can you help?

Just to make sure: You take accounts online by right-clicking them and choose “Take Offline”. I assume you then get the password requester.

You can verify that the credentials are correct by connecting using a Terminal window (if you know how to use that):

    openssl s_client -connect 7rgk-r5fy.accessdomain.com:993

    Then login like this:

    0 LOGIN username password

    You can logout like this:

    0 LOGOUT

    Does that work as expected?
