MailMate does not decode AppleDouble
Reported by Adam Nohejl | February 10th, 2017 @ 11:13 AM
AppleDouble is not recognized, and thus AppleDouble encoded files are not decoded as a single file by MailMate.
Mac e-mail clients, such as Apple Mail (traditionally) send file with a resource fork as AppleDouble: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AppleSingle_and_AppleDouble_formats
Apple Mail discards resource fork when sending an attachments only when you enable "Send Windows-Friendly Attachments", otherwise resource forks of files are encoded using AppleDouble. On OS X resource fork is are often (perhaps most often) used to store custom icons.
I am sending an email with AppleDouble-encoded attachments: image files with custom icons.
