Allow access to gmail accoiunt

I am trying to install MailMate on my new MacBook. When I add my gmail account, the "Allow access for xxx@gmail.com” at “imap.gmail.com” pops up. When I log in and allow MailMate access, the windows pops up again. I checked whether MailMate has access to gmail and it does. I also enables the "Allow less secure apps" option on google.

Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane. This is a known issue. I'm actually not 100% sure if Gmail or MailMate is to blame (it worked in the past), but I've worked around the issue.
Sorry about the inconvenience. I'm working on getting a public update out.
