Password Problem with Yahoo

Hello from Paris France,
Got a problem with several yahoo IMAP account
An error message appear each time i try to take "my_email_adress"
online
it says :
Enter password for “myemail@yahoo.fr” at
“imap.mail.yahoo.com”
Server response: “H0 NO AUTHENTICATIONFAILED”. Command attempted:
“••••••••••”.
Please enter password for user name “myemail@yahoo.fr”.
I write down my email there and hit "save password in
keychain"
but after a while the error window appear again...
Here are the settings in Mailmate :
Description : myfullemailadresss@yahoo.fr
Full name : myfullemailadresss@yahoo.fr
Email Adress : myfullemailadresss@yahoo.fr
IMAP server : imap.mail.yahoo.com
User name : myfullemailadresss@yahoo.fr
password : •••••
Port : 993
Require SSL : ticked
SMTP server : smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Port : 465
Require SSL : ticket
On yahoo on the web :
- I have tried to change my password on the web on yahoo.com then
put that new password in mailmate - in the security settings i have
ticked "authorise apps using a less secure connection" it's in
french sorry maybe my translation is wrong but hopefully you get
what i mean there.
On my iphone
- Connection to my yahoomail from my iPhone is OK (it synchs)
I have several yahoo accounts none of them are working with
mailmate :-(

Do you use two-step verification? In that case you need an application specific password.
I have a Yahoo test account which still works (even though Yahoo IMAP is very buggy).
Let me know if it's not fixed by using an application specific password.

yahoo's IMAP seems buggy ;-( -

- State changed from new to closed
So it appears it was a temporary issue of some sort. This was not really indicated by the error message though...
