  And this happens for all of your accounts?

  Could you simplify the problem by starting over and just add 1 account? That'll make it simpler to debug. (You can delete the ~/Library/Application Support/MailMate folder to start over completely.)

  Alternatively, take all but 1 account offline in the SOURCES section in the mailbox list.

  The error is actually related to the “Edit Subscriptions” button in the account editor. Did you use this when adding the account(s)?

  I deleted the three accounts I had (two were Gmail, one was iCloud).

  (Worth mentioning: I went to delete the Library/Application/MailMate folder, but it wasn't to be found. (a) Maybe since my sources were never connected, the folder never formed?)

  I re-added my main Gmail account: File » Import Accounts » then I selected the Gmail radio button.

  • It prompts the 2-step authentication: Username then Password.
  • I submit. It pop-ups "MailMate would like to: View and manage your mail" I hit "Allow"
  • Then the problem: it re-prompts the 2-step authentication process like I just didn't complete it.

  After not working, I fiddled with the "Edit Subscriptions" settings, but nothing seemed to change the outcome.
