Save attachment button function

Reported by Baltasar Cevc | November 17th, 2016 @ 09:02 AM

I hope this is not a doublet--I have not found any corresponding entry, though.

What I am reporting is something I consider a "bug" in the user interface. As a new user, I've expected something to happen when left-clicking the save button next to the attachment. However, in my installation nothing happens -- and only after using "quick view, open, save as" for some time, just by chance I figured out you have to right-click to open a menu with several options.

My suggestions:
1. The button should act on left click (irrespective of whether opening a menu or not)
2. Perhaps even better, have one button for the standard action and one for more which opens the menu. Standard should in my view either be configurable or "Save as".

Yes, this bugs me too. It's not following conventional UI behaviour. In my opinion, the way the button works now, the button label should read "Save to Downloads", and there should be a "Save …" button in addition.

(A related note: I would like a menu option for saving to last used folder.)
