Message disappears when clicked in smart mailbox with unread messages

The "Unread" smart mailbox contains unread messages. When I click on one, it disappears. This is counterintuitive behaviour. I expect to be able to read the message and disappear from the list only when focus is removed from it, e.g. when I click on another message.

The message should not disappear until you switch mailbox.
Is this the default Unread mailbox or some customization?

It's the default Unread mailbox. I've sent you a private mail with a link to a screen recording of this. It is very easy to reproduce.

I believe this bug has been fixed a long time ago. Sorry for not updating the ticket.
