gmail password changed, mailmate account broke

I had to change my email password with gmail. Now Mailmate has stopped working. I changed the password in the File -IMAP but no luck.

Should I somehow remove the account and re-initialize it?

I tried to "Edit Subscription" and I got this error message.

Thanks for any help.

    If you have two factor authentication enabled then the password mode won't work, but even if you do not have that enabled then it might still not work because Google some times don't allow it. In other words, keep OAuth2 enabled.

    In this state, “Edit Subscriptions” never works (this is a known bug), because it cannot update the token needed.

    You need to take the account offline/online under SOURCES in the mailbox list. This should trigger MailMate to fetch a new token if it works as expected. If not then try opening “Keychain Access” (in Applications/Utilities) and search for MailMate.Google. If you delete these tokens it forces MailMate to start over (asking for permission to access the account).

    cancel ticket, figured out the problem - mistakenly typing google.com vs. gmail.com in imap and smtp settings....
