crashing immediately after launching the program

Hello,
The program is crashing immediately after opening the program. I've
tried restarting but nothing seems to fix this issue. I'm on a mac
powerbook, running system 10.10.5 Thanks for your help

I've also deleted the .plist file, repaired some disk errors but am still having the same problem.

Sorry about your trouble. First try the latest test version of MailMate to see if it's a fixed issue: http://updates.mailmate-app.com/archives/MailMate_r5227.tbz
If that doesn't help then open a Terminal window (if you know how) and launch MailMate like this:
/Applications/MailMate.app/Contents/MacOS/MailMatePost any error messages output when MailMate crashes.

I've tried the terminal route with the same results. The .plist was part of the crash reporter, so I don't think that's a factor
