Layout reverts after restart

I have my layout set to "widescreen", but every time my computer restarts, the layout reverts to "3 pane".

- State changed from “new” to “cantreproduce”
There's a known issue if MailMate has crashed, but it shouldn't happen otherwise. This happens every time? What if you only quit/launch MailMate?

As far as I can remember, it does happen every time I restart. Quitting and relaunching doesn't have the problem.

Could the difference be that when you restart the machine then it's because of a “hard” crash like running out of (or cutting) power?

I just restarted, and the layout was correct, so maybe it is only when MailMate crashes. I'll keep an eye on it.

I just did a software update that restarted the computer and the layout reverted again.

I just restarted and the layout reverted. No reason for the app to have crashed.

Same thing just happened. The app was running fine, I restarted my computer, and now the layout is wrong. Can I turn on some debugging or something to track down the cause?

I'm having the same problem. I quit MM every night about 10:30 CST. When it automatically re-opens in the morning, widescreen has reverted to 3-pane. On two different Macs.
