"Revert to default column" is not working at all

I configured my default columns as in screenshot #1.

Reverting to default columns for some folders does not work and shows the column layout as seen in screenshot #2.

Even more weird: for some folders within the same IMAP account within the same folder hierarchy have the option disabled (screenshot #3) ....why is this???

    This is still a bit of an achilles heel of MailMate. There are bugs, but the worst part is probably that it's not sufficiently intuitive. How and when to save column settings is not as straightforward as it may seem (well, at least not to me). My current solution is too complex and error-prone and a proper fix involves starting over.

    I'm not sure it'll help in your case, but you can reset all the mailbox related settings using the following Terminal command:

    defaults delete com.freron.MailMate MmMailboxRelatedStates

    Then relaunch MailMate.

    I'll update this ticket if I have any news on fixing or refactoring this part of MailMate. That'll also allow you to be notified if the current problems are a deal breaker.
