Tagged Message Duplicated appearing in "Other" under Tagged Smart Mailbox
Reported by Pradip Thachile | December 13th, 2015 @ 07:49 PM
I have tagged several messages with just a single tag, in this example "labore ex". These messages have only this tag and no other. However, I noticed that these same messages also appear under the "Other" subfolder (called "Dolor" in distortion mode). Why are the messages duplicated between these two sub-folders, shouldn't they be mutually exclusive? See the attachment for an example of the issue.

Yes, they should be mutually exclusive. There seems to be more problems though. The headers view does not display the tags. Is this also true for the other tags?
Could you send me this file:
~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Tags.plist

As for headers not showing tags - this only happens in Distortion mode and for any tag.
Find attached the requested file!

Thanks. I think I was able to reproduce something similar. It cleared up after relaunching MailMate. Does that also work for you?
In other words, it seems to be related to some order of events. I'll look into it.

Yes. Relaunching Mailmate makes the problem go away, but after some tagging and browsing it shows up again. Thanks for your help!

The problem was a somewhat general bug which may also have had other bad side effects. Thanks for the report. It should work in the next update.
