Request: Command-# for recalling MailMate windows (like Terminal)

Reported by emory | May 26th, 2011 @ 09:34 PM

Would it be possible to refer to windows and pull them to the foreground based on number?

For example, Command-1 to focus Window 1, Command-2 to focus Window 2.

Terminal.app lets you refer to windows that way and other applications sometimes do something similar.

shoot I of course forgot that the saved views (widescreen/3-pane) are mapped to Command-X.

Yes, the shortcuts are taken. I may change that, but not to use the
shortcuts for the windows. I have a long-term plan for introducing
tabs and here I would like to use ⌘1-n for switching between tabs. And
then something more intuitive for switching layouts.

I guess that for users that never use tabs, the shortcuts could instead
be used for windows. I'll try to keep that in mind.
