Some kind of server error
Reported by David Crippen | October 17th, 2015 @ 05:05 PM
From David Crippen, MD: As of last night, receiving the enclosed
error flag seemingly something
in the server. However, only getting this flag on my Mac Air
laptop, not
my desktop iMac or my iPhone. All equipment up to date and all
were
functioning normally until last night. Mail client is MaleMate,
a
reliable mail sender. I queried the Pitt Server help desk. Reply
below:
David,
I spoke briefly with the NOC – this issue isn’t related to server connectivity on our end, this is a client interaction error, and thus a problem with your client itself. I tried to research for you, and could not find any phone support numbers, only a webpage with an email submission link to contact them.

First update to the latest test release of MailMate: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.
Then trigger the error and then hold down ⇧ when clicking “Retry”. If the error repeats then you should find a log file on your Desktop which you can upload here.
Note that due to a bug the current public release MailMate has probably already saved some other log files to your desktop. Delete those before doing the above.
Sorry about the delayed response.

For the record, I suspect this is an issue with a badly behaving Exchange server, but we'll see what the log reveals.
