Mailmate Not Starting

Reported by Chris Simpson | October 13th, 2015 @ 04:54 PM

When I try to start Mailmate it doesn't open. This started after a reboot. I tried another reboot just in case with no luck. I tried staring it from the command line and get the following alert:

2015-10-13 09:49 MailMate809 FSEventStreamFlushSync:1(streamRef = 0x7fee55500d40): WARNING: CFRunLoopRunInMode() => The run loop timed out. (3) (15.00 seconds)

I am running Yosemite.

Thanks for the assistance.

Best Regards,

Chris

    That's not a known issue. Does MailMate crash after this? Could you send me a crash report using the contact address at http://freron.com/contact (if you have other ways to email).

    If you are comfortable using a Terminal window then you could force MailMate to resync all accounts by deleting the following folders:

    ~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Messages/
    ~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Database.noindex/
    ~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Attachments/

    Well, the first line might be Messages.noindex or something else depending on your Spotlight settings in the General preferences pane of MailMate.

    (If possible I would like to learn more about the problem first.)
