Security Warning from Gmail

Hi there ... I am getting a security error when I try to log in to google ... I have uploaded a screen grab ... http://sharebucketapp.com/Y2U3NWE2MDI1NGIyOWE0

It's probably something silly I'm doing but it used to work. I have updated to the latest version of MailMate 1.9.2 (5141).

Many thanks for any assistance. Not urgent as I can access messages other places.

    The error includes a URL to a Google page. Try following its instructions.

    Thanks for that. I went through the list and the only thing that worked was allowing less secure apps to access Gmail. I've never had to do that before with Mailmate but it is working now so that is good.

    I think maybe Google is changing their policies. For the record, “less secure apps” is how Google tries to say that it's not good that one password provides access to all Google services. That said, MailMate has an experimental feature which would allow you to disable this setting.
