Support for clickable alternative uri schemes

I have systems which send me emails including clickable url links using the uri scheme of fmp:// - this works with the popular FileMaker Pro software.
Is there are setting somewhere in the prefs, hidden or otherwise, form making MailMate cause such links to be clickable?
It would be awesome of these links would be converted via a pref setting somewhere.
