Authentication Error - Unable to create iCloud.account

I am trying to create my Apple email account .

I am entering the Incoming server as : imap.mail.me.com and smtp.mail.me.com

After entering the correct password too, Iam unable to resolve and receive any emails.

Please suggest.

I just got fed up with Airmail and moved to Mailmate. I am on trial and will upgrade if I can have some peace of mind in receiveing and sending emails.

According to this then you should only use the name part of your email address. Note that this is not the case for SMTP.
