Manipulate recipients without mouse (Request or question)
Reported by Thomas Hanke | April 15th, 2011 @ 10:33 AM
Their addresses, of course.
Is there a way (yet) to change addresses in the recipient
field?
[Okay, after trying the obvious: another way than double-clicking.
After all, I'm typing e-mails, not mousing]
I occasionally paste addresses into the recipient field.
Some of them aren't readily usable, such as ’mailmate AT
mailmate DOT com’.
Same goes for pure addresses, which I'd like to enhance with a name.
I can't find a way to manipulate the pasted addresses in the
recipient field.
Back-delete deletes the whole block.

Not a way that I know, but it is a valid request. Unfortunately I don't
think there is any way that I can put a selected token into edit mode
programmatically (which could, e.g., be triggered when hitting space). What I may be able to do is to analyze the pasted string and if it is
not a likely name/address then I could avoid creating the token and
instead keep it in edit mode. I'll look into that.[state:reproduced]

I was able to make both things work. Not sure I like to use the space key for this purpose though, so I may change that again.
