Problem of case for the first letter in the To: form
Reported by Thibaud | April 9th, 2011 @ 04:06 PM
Hello,
When I type a new e-mail address (unknown by mailmate) in the To: form whose the first letters are the same than an already existing name in my address book, the name is shown in the form and so the first letter is converted to upper case. However, when I finish the e-mail, the proposal disappears but the case still remains.
For instance, I have : "John Doe john.doe@mail.com" in my address book. I want to write an e-mail to "joannah.mah@megamail.com".
I type "jo" and "John Doe john.doe@mail.com" is proposed and takes place in the To: form. I type "a" and "John Doe john.doe@mail.com" disappears to let "Joa" in the form instead of coming back to "joa" that I actually typed. As a result, I finally obtain "Joannah.mah@megamail.com", which is quite ugly as an e-mail address!
Would it be possible to improve this behaviour?
Thank you.

Same issue here.
Btw, it'd be nice to restructure the list of proposed addresses (ok, I file a new request).

Thomas, maybe your problem with the proposed addresses is the same than mine: http://freron.lighthouseapp.com/projects/58672/tickets/106-repetiti... ?
