MailMate Tags => Finder Tags?

Love the tags feature but when I export email out to the finder (drag and drop on Desktop) the tags are not there any longer. All the effort I put into tagging only exists as long as your email is located within MailMate. Can't you convert them to Finder tags upon export?
With years of email messages behind me, I routinely export email off to a DevonThink Database for easier seaching, archiving, etc. otherwise my email folders would be huge online.
Did I miss another request for this?
BTW, love the 64-bit releases and new features. Wonderful!!
