Crash while Sending/adding Group to TO
Reported by Fabian Blechschmidt | January 24th, 2015 @ 04:04 PM
Hi! Thanks for this great mail program.
Reproduce:
I have an Email with 5.5 MB (5.1MB Pdf as attachment), I want to
forward. So I click on Forward, The email opens. I add a Group from
my Address Book (17 contacts), the group autocompletes to 17 single
mailaddresses. I click on send and Mailmate crashes.

Thanks. The crash does not appear to be related to using a group. I suspect it is related to the specific email forwarded or one of the email addresses in the group.
Can you reproduce it? I don't think you need to send to do it. It'll be sufficient to save the draft (⌘S).
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I can reproduce it, I'm not 100% sure but I think I have a second mail to reproduce it. So I think it is about the size.

I don't think it's about the size. Based on the code I also think it is only triggered when “Prefer Plain Text” is enabled which might explain why I don't have more crash reports with this problem.
Please try reproducing with the 64 bit beta of MailMate.
Is it a message you can share? Or are you comfortable with trying to edit the raw message in a text editor before sharing it?
