Sign on send

Signing messages with large attachements (10 MB or the like) is awfully slow on my 2011 MBP. This becomes especially unhandy when editing a message's text after adding the attachement. I suppose MailMate refreshes the signature on every update of the message content, essentially preventing fast typing. May be it would be better so sign messages on send only?
