Wouldbenice feature: folder including all msgs from included folders
Reported by Thomas Hanke | March 10th, 2011 @ 08:04 PM
That is, other than the default top-level folders.
A day without feature request…
I couldn't find it, I thought it's somewhere (not #43, not
#13)
- I duplicated the 'Examples' folder to get my own top-level
folder.
- Gathered some smart lists to cover the most interesting
bases.
- Don't see any msgs from included folders.
Hoped for: simple switch
Okayish solution: Create a smart folder -> set it to all msgs in included folders.
Wouldbenice: some option to get the same behavior as with 'Inbox' and other default folders.
I guess there's another term for 'include'.
'MailMate: you come for the e-mails, you stay for the tickets' ;-)

It would also be nice if this still allowed conditions to be applied to the resulting set of messages, for example, to be able to only show the unread messages of the included mailboxes.

A checkmark option has been added to the Mailboxes pane which allows one to tell MailMate that the mailbox should contain the messages of all its submailboxes. If the mailbox does not have a Mailboxes pane (IMAP mailboxes) then the option is in the Conditions pane. Whenever the option is enabled then the “Submailboxes” pane is disabled (although possible, it's also very confusing to combine these features).
