Mailmate to Omnifocus 2 seems to be broken

Reported by John Sievert | June 27th, 2014 @ 02:30 AM

Selecting an email and then going to the command menu->Omnifocus does not bring up the input box and but does appear to put it in the quick entry box although it won't persist.

OmniFocus support is broken (for OF 2.0) in the current public release of MailMate. If you are using that then try the latest test release instead: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.

Still broken when using the newest version - 2.0.2 and latest test build.

    More information:

If I highlight an email in the listing of emails and then go to the command menu and select either of the Omnifocus choices, there is no indication that it has been put into the quick entry window of Omnifocus. However, if I subsequently highlight any other text, say in an email or such, and then invoke the command menu option with either of the Omnifocus selections, the text is put into the quick entry box, the quick entry box is displayed AND the prior selected email shows in the quick entry box as well. However, this won't persist and appears that it must be both done consecutively in MailMate or the both items are lost.

@David: First check that you do not have a manually installed version of the OmniFocus bundle in this location:

    ~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Bundles/OmniFocus.mmBundle

If you do then delete it.

@John: Sorry about the late reply. I'm not sure what happened. Please also check if you have a custom bundle installed.
