End Tag Errors
Reported by Rick Austin | March 19th, 2014 @ 08:29 PM
I've been using MailMate for some time now, great product. I just added another email account using IMAP and I'm getting End Tag errors.
MailMate encountered the following error: “Unexpected end
tag, 'Bogus', while expecting 'J17'”.
Mailbox: “mail/SPAM.incoming”.
MailMate encountered the following error: “Unexpected end
tag, 'Bogus', while expecting 'J16'”.
Mailbox: “mail/drafts”.
One that is not an end tag error:
MailMate encountered the following error: “Failed SSL
handshake.”.
Mailbox: “mail/SPAM.incoming”.

I believe I've done a workaround for the
Bogus
problem. Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane to see if this is true. The failed SSL handshake might be the one described in ticket #651. Unfortunately still unresolved, but you are welcome to add additional information.

I haven't had this problem in a long while after getting one of the incremental releases. It started popping back up, the end tag error. The message I'm getting is:
MailMate encountered the following error: “Unexpected end tag, 'S10', while expecting 'S11'”.
Mailbox: “INBOX”.Is there anything I can provide to assist with troubleshooting?

Yes, first update to the latest test version (hold down ⌥ when
clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane). Then
do as follows:- Open the Activity Viewer (⌥⌘0).
- Trigger the problem.
- Use “Help ▸ Send Server Logs”.
Then I can review the problem.
- Open the Activity Viewer (⌥⌘0).
