Signature inseted but not checked

There is no problem when I create a new message.
But when I reply to one, the default signature is inserted, but none is checked in the list. As a result, when I want to change this default signature, a new one is inserted (and well checked) and so I get two signatures in my e-mail. It is as if the first one was not detected by MailMate although it put it itself.

MailMate apparently fails to find the signature when searching for it, so this means that it somehow changed between when it was inserted and when it was displayed in the text view. My initial guess is that it is related to trailing whitespace.
I would like to see the signature in order to reproduce the problem. It may be problematic to send it if it is related to trailing whitespace. Probably best to attach the following file to a message:
~/Library/Application Support/MailMate/Signatures.plist -

I don't see any way to make my Signatures.plist private here. I'd prefer to send it to you by e-mail while continuing the discussion here.

- State changed from “new” to “fixcommitted”
The problem was whitespace-related, but it was related to prefixed whitespace (and not trailing whitespace as guessed above).
