Can't edit rules

Reported by Jon | November 22nd, 2024 @ 04:15 AM

MailMate Version 1.14 (6065)
macOS 15.1.1 (24B2091)

I can ADD conditions to existing rules
I can't edit/delete existing conditions, nor can I create new rules though.

UPDATE: It looks like this happens when trying to add/edit rules on the main/combined Inbox, but on individual inboxes (Gmail Account > Inbox) it seems to be working.

I'm afraid the issue is related to a change in one of the most recent test releases. I think it still works in, e.g., this version: https://updates.mailmate-app.com/archives/MailMate_r6060.tbz

Then wait for me to release something newer than r6065.

Hey Benny. Thanks for the response. Yeah, I just went and tested and it works in r6060, but not in r6061+

Thanks for checking. Let me know if you also see the problem for anything released after r6065.

On r6068 I can create and edit rules, however:

    1. When clicking the plus sign to add a rule, it creates it, but does not select it for editing. Instead the first responder moves to the Name field of the rule that had been previously selected. Not a huge deal, but confusing when moving quickly.
    2. I clicked the +, selected it, added a rule, then removed it (I was just testing that the UI was working), then I deleted the rule. After that I tried to close the window and got a "The rule has been changed" modal with options "Discard" and "Commit", but neither button works, so there is no way to dismiss it (just had to quit/reopen the app)

@Jon: Thanks for letting me know. I think I've fixed both issues for the next update (that'll be r6206+).
