Disable IPv6 at the application level?

RE issue Can't connect to office365 IMAP anymore
I note that Thunderbird users were able to disable IPv6 at the application level:
"I just disabled ipv6 netwotking in thunderbird advanced configuration editor (network.dns.disableIPv6 = true)" Source
Is anything like that possible in MailMate? Turning off every one of six network adapters is quite convoluted.
