Hidden Preferences - MmSourcesAboveMailboxes option not working

in the help, hidden settings I found this option:
"The following is a quick hack for users wanting the
“SOURCES” above the “MAILBOXES” section in
the mailbox outline:"
defaults write com.freron.MailMate MmSourcesAboveMailboxes
-bool YES
I tried it but it did not do anything! I have restarted MailMate, I logged out and logged back in and re-started MailMate, but no change.
This is not urgent, I just thought you'd like to know.
MailMate Version 1.14 (5815)
MacOS 11.4 / Apple M1 Chip
