Mailmate freezing in Big Sur

I am getting the same. Not consistently, but certain HTML emails I'm replying to cause the composer to hang then MM just crashes. Much much worse on Big Sur (which I have to say I'm wondering why I bothered to upgrade!).

Understood. Upgraded to 5737 and testing now. Ill withdraw my comments for now.

5737 seems to have improved it. I do have this error when looking for updates however https://share.getcloudapp.com/eDuPNwr5

@Corey Allen - Im seeing the same error message "Malformed server response."

It is more stable, but still getting the occasional crash.

Having played with r5737 and r5738 on Big Sur I think I'm going to have to take a break from my favourite email client MM for a while and use another client (Outlook and Mac Mail) until some of the bugs are ironed out. Unfortunately,the variety and frequency of crashes I'm getting is getting in the way of my productivity. The good news I've not lost any work since the draft or the ability to import on restart enables a successful recovery.

Using another email client other than MM is a painful reminder why I'm on Mailmate in the first place. I know it won't take too for Benny to fix this, then I'll be back!

Issues causing a crash:

• using widescreen view to scroll through mails
• Replying or creating a new Markdown emails
• Using a menu option while composing a markdown email

I've sent a load of crashlogs through for review.

I am pleased to report r5739 much much more stable!
