Confusing instructions on setting up MM for Gmail

The Manual section for "How to configure Mailmate" says:
If you click “Edit Subscriptions” in the IMAP account editor for a Gmail account then you might notice that “[Gmail]/Starred” and “[Gmail]/Important” are unsubscribed.
"IMAP account editor for a Gmail account" is ambiguous because it never occurred to me that I should look for this anywhere but in my Gmail account at mail.google.com. However, the current Gmail interface has nothing clearly identifiable as a IMAP account editor, nor does it make reference to the notion of subscription.
I suggest updating the language of the manual along the following lines:
If you click “Edit Subscriptions” in the IMAP account editor for a Gmail account ("File" => "Edit IMAP Account" => [select account]) then you might notice that “[Gmail]/Starred” and “[Gmail]/Important” are unsubscribed.
It might be worth mentioning what I did find on Gmail:
In Gmail, under "Settings => Labels", one can ensure that the system labels "Starred" and "Important" are unsubscribed by unchecking the "Show in IMAP" boxes.
