Desire a link to Mailbox Folders
Reported by Charles Lamprey | October 15th, 2018 @ 09:54 PM
I appreciate the ability to copy the URI of a message by mouse-selecting "Command -> Mailmate -> Copy Links to Messages" while one or more messages are selected, as it allows me to jump directly to that message from my workflow software.
I would appreciate the capability to "Copy Link to Mailbox Folder" for a similar capability that would 'jump' me to the contents of that folder in Mailmate.

There's not quite this feature yet, but you can create such a link by selecting a mailbox and then use “Edit > Copy” to puts its unique identity on the pasteboard.
A link like this can then be used to open the mailbox:
mlmt:select?mailbox=ARCHIVE
I think this only works in the latest test releases: Hold down ⌥ when clicking “Check Now” in the Software Update preferences pane.

Hmmmph. Doesn't work for me, even after latest releases.
Neither of these seem to work; they just open MailMate but don't select the requested Mailbox:
mlmt:///select?mailbox=Archive
mlmt:///select?mailbox=ARCHIVE
Also, Edit -> Copy provides an imap: link, not a mlmt: one.

Try copy/pasting exactly what I wrote. You can also try it using this Terminal command:
open "mlmt:select?mailbox=ARCHIVE"
The
imap:
link is correct. For example:open "mlmt:select?mailbox=imap://user@example.com/INBOX"
