Is Touch Bar support a planned feature?

It hasn't been a high priority. (I don't have a machine with Touch Bar, but it's possible to develop for it anyways.)
If you have specific requests for Touch Bar functionality then I can at least consider them if/when adding support.
On a more general note: MailMate is very keyboard centric and therefore it seems a bit counter-intuitive to encourage the use of something which requires the user to look at the keyboard, but I'm aware that not all users of MailMate are keyboard-only users.

I'd say Archive, junk and delete. Maybe marking and flagging. Tap the mark or tag icon and then show a row with a list of marks or flags.
Optionally show a status message telling what MailMate is doing. Perhaps it's possible to show the tip of the day on the Touch Bar?
Just some random thought. Still getting used to the thing myself really.
When composing a message maybe show an equivalent bar as visible just above the message body. (The row with the sign and encrypt buttons.)
