Keyboard shortcut for "Close Message" ?

I know how to create custom keybindings, but can't find the answer to this—

Is it possible to change the keybinding for "Close Message" ?

If so, what is the action? "closeMessage" ? (I tried that; didn't work)

Also—how can I map this to the Escape key?

    It's performClose: (defined for the NSWindow class).

    I'm not sure mapping to escape will work, but the escape key is \U001B and therefore you can try:

    "\U001B" = "performClose:";
